Cricket World Cup 2019

Praying for a NZ win tomorrow. India are definitely beatable however after the last few performances it’s not looking good for us.

Seems like the game plan has gone out of the window since Roy got injured. Playing Vince is a joke he shouldn’t be in the squad.

The world cup squad selection has to be questioned, left arm swing bowler takes 5 for yet ours was left out for a spin bowler who's never going to play. The ECB choosing principles over the best squad and as a result we are 0/1 after two balls because they choose a guy who isn't anywhere near good enough. Plunkwtt again left out for the 3rd time each one we have lost

Lads all over the country take cocaine. Fuck me, I've taken it myself a few times in me life. Vince or Hales? It's a no brainer.

Leaving the Hales thing to one side, there’s about 20 batsmen I could name that are more deserving of a place in that side than Vince - surely they don’t genuinely think he is the best option we have after the opening 3? Makes you wonder what goes on behind the scenes for him to get picked when every fan and pundit says he is basically completely shite. Tbh I wouldn’t even play him for Durham

If (admittedly a big if at the moment) we can find some form from somewhere and beat both India and New Zealand, would anyone bet against us winning the tournament from there? Funnier things have happened - it doesn't take much in 50-over cricket for things to turn around.

Hmm. To be fair, Vince has scored shit loads in the Royal London, won the cup for Hampfrica last year ... He was the obvious choice aside from Hales, especially in white ball cricket.
I'd still pick Vince over Denley.

Game was made for Willey. We need to be less rigid in selection and pick horses for courses, like we started off doing. Plunkett being dropped is also shocking in fairness, he’s deserved his place in this squad.

We can still win the tournament. Just need to get back to where we have been the last few years.

He’s had about 150 chances for England and every single innings is identical. It will never work playing him at international level, we need to move on. There are plenty of other options that we should have gone to before Vince

Hampshire supporters I work with think Vince is a class player. They were bigging him when he got the nod a few games ago and I was telling them he's never an international class player.

The silence after the second ball of the innings was f***ing deafening.

I don't disagree mate, but he's mainly been tried in red ball, and as I say, his 50 over numbers have been superb. Can't fault his selection there... Unfortunately he's just not been good enough to grab his chance. Need JRoy back ASAP.

Like who?

There aren’t as many options as people think likr

Malan maybe

It was the media really

They all say England have no Choice then criticize after when don’t perform

You pick your best players. It's as simple as that.

The media can fuck off to be fair. Always the same when it comes to England. Whether it's football, rugby or cricket the media try and find something.
