Looking good for the semi finals....and ominously good in most departments
They haven’t played anyone good yet tbf. Sri Lanka are shocking and they still gave them a chance.

EDIT: They played India and got beat comfortably. Think they’re lacking against the top sides personally.

Maybe yeah, but Finch, Warner, Smith, Starc & Cummins are top draw players. England need to be right on their game.

I’m not sure about by far, I want them to be don’t get me wrong, but they have some real quality in their ranks, some shite too like.
They have quality individuals, but as a side? I'm not so sure. Haven't impressed me at all during this tournament so far, and lost to the only decent side they played.

They're by far the weakest of the likely semi finalists imo
Think they’d beat New Zealand personally.

Lockie Ferguson has been blowing away the sub continent teams for them, doubt he’ll have the same success coming up against teams not scared of 90mph bowlers.

Afghanistan 73/6 against South Africa

Ffs
Yeah....but their failings got me back my losses on the cheating pair of convicts early doors....and more! :D

Yeah..I love their joyous enthusiasm......but their failings got me back my losses on the cheating pair of convicts early doors....and more! :D

It's their pedigree as a cricketing nation I worry about, they are conditioned to winning tournaments. They were fairly written off for this tournament before it started so they pretty much have a free hit with no pressure and the weight of history bearing down on them like we do. With some of the players they have it's a very dangerous scenario.
