Yeah fair enough

I am not really meaning wood v archer at all

On about Broad, huge fan as you know, just asking the question if he is still undroppable in england

No complaints of who plays out of Wood or Archer like, 50/50 call

Its whether we need 2 English seamers in Englosh conditions, I think we do against the Aussies

Just safety so we still have batsman down the order if there was a collapse

Could watch Root bat all day, nearest to Bell in style we have had

@Voice of fair play Root opening and Woakes at 3??

You'll be loving this

The best and most experienced batsman should fill problem positions not easy postitions imo, that simple really

How’s 4 easy? The key position in the team, why smith, root n Kohli bat there

Is easier than 3 or opening by very nature as new ball likely to do more and don’t know if you have noticed but they have also bee problem postitions for us for years.

Imo if India were struggling at 3 for years Kohli would move himself up he looks to me to be that type of character

Only becomes a key position if you have a decent 3 above though, which we don’t. There’s been talk of Curran moving up to 3 just so root doesn’t have to

Exactly it’s beyond ridiculous we even thinking about putting a bowler in that position when we have one of the best batsman in the world just one place lower.

I don't think they'll drop Broad but he is droppable, they dropped him in Sri Lanka when they went horses for courses

Nobody is thinking about putting a Bowler in at 3

Lads on message boards don’t have influence mate

No it’s not easier

They are specialist positions

It’s likr saying let’s put Cook at 4 because it’s “easier”

Whoever lost the toss today was fucked .wouldnt look into it too much either way like

Toss was important but England always gonna win today

Windies batting can’t cope if not a road

England been class for every innings bar the bowling one v Pakistan

If everyone can stay fit got a great chance

And that was really the fielding rather than the bowling.

Well isn’t that the exact reason Root who started his test career as opener was moved down the order?

Because it was easier

That’s exactly what happened

I don’t think so, we realized we had a talented stroke player

You wouldn’t have opened with bell like or someone would we

Enjoyed the day at the Hampshire Bowl. The Windies were pretty poor and virtually gave up before England batsmen took the field. Very little evidence they thought they could bowl England out. Their batting for the most part was horrific. While the toss was important, it shouldn't have led to such an easy victory. Rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!!!
