Not every team in the world play world cups at home, in favourable conditions, and as favourites. So no, virtually every team in the world aren't bottlers. At all.

Thats not what he is saying, you said all the ODI series are pointless, they aren't

in that case every test series is pointless

slats is right there like, brine from a pickled egg jar gets rid of cramp for me

Ok. They aren't pointless. But they clearly are nowhere near as important or as prestigious as the world cup. The pressure is off in one day series. In the world cup it's on and they have clearly struggled with that pressure.

Not kidding, David Willey picked purely as a batsman wouldn’t have faired as badly as James Vince. Jesus christ

Some torrid batsmen in this England set up who have had chance after chance after chance. Far more so than Cricketers got in the 80s and 90s before going onto the scrapheap. Jennings another that springs to mind.

Yeah of course

they have here like, not sure did they did againsg Pakistan though, they batted well, they just had to many due to ridiculous fielding

Sri Lanka is the one, they were just careless and lax, how the tail couldn't bat for Stokes was so poor

Jennnings has scored 2 100s in asia to be fair, should be on the next tour over there

We smashed Pakistan 4-0 in a one day series. When it matters fielding errors creep in and we lose. I'd say that's the players feeling the pressure. Not that any of this really matters.

No matter the outcome of this, Stokes has once more stood head and shoulders above the rest of the England batsmen when the going has gotten tough and the pressure has been on.
Well done Stokesy!

Stokes deserves a lot of credit for the way he’s batted in this tournament. We’re not going to win this, but he’s giving us a slimmest chance at least.
