Oakley Vipers v St Stephen's CC

Oakley 151-7 off 20 overs
St Stephen's 152-8 off 20 overs

Brutal game this evening, red hot and 2 good sides really going for it. Another couple of wickets for yours truly and a quickfire 6 runs at the death. Really fun game though, what midweek cricket is all about.

Seconds hit a bit of a blip recently. Been bowling sides out very cheaply but struggling to chase down totals. Well outperformed last night from what I seen. Result never looked in danger.

Firsts still going well in league but poor in cups. Big test this weekend, double header and league leaders away on Saturday

We were 147-3, Phil Bennett got 60odd, Pringle moosed about 30odd not out in 10 balls at end, Cassell 20odd, Pearson around 20 and I got a paltry 10 ish not out...

ER got 91-9 off 20, Cassell with a great spell 5-45 off 10, Luke Hutchinson 3-15ish and a wicket for Storey too, excellent in the field and superb attitude throughout...

Nice semi final in the next round...
