Not a big computer game player myself.

Just wondering if there are any good ones out there?

Just been playing International Cricket Manager at work, bloody hard mind. Drew my first 4 games with Durham, Blackwell scoring for fun, but can't get twenty wickets to save my life.

ICC is the FM of the creekit world. I used to hoy some hours in. in my youth. 2003 probably about the last time i was on it. Had saqlain and salisbury spinning everyone to death for surrey.

Brian lara on the ps1 was the dogs bollocks, used to play a mate 20 over games for 20 quid a game. It kept a record of your multiplayer stats as well, which was class, we had 3 years worth of records in there. Still got the memory card somewhere

Used to always play Brian Lara.

Remember one night I was playing as Australia in a one day game and got 700+ in an innings with Shane Warne getting over 200 of them.

I had it on ps2 and then the one on the xbox 360, am thinking of the newer one where yee have to get 36 garfield sobers challenge, its impossible!

The PS2 one was crap. No matter where the ball was pitched you could smack it to absolutely anywhere in the stand.

I used to quite like the EA ones on PS2, especially playing 2 player with a mate both batting at the same time and deliberately running each other out. The only problem being, on the harder difficulties against the computer, it was almost completely impossible to get a single wicket.

I started with graham gooch for the Amiga great game dermot reeve was the main man on that. Then went onto Brian Lara for the mega drive and ps1 similar to the gooch game but better graphics, ea cricket which was shite. Then onto cricket captain which was a simple but very addictive game then finally the ashes game which had plenty of good things but lots of bad too.

8-) amazing hoe much swing you could get on the ball by wiggling the joystick class!

I still play Cricket 07 on my PC, used to make stadium mods and custom squads and player faces and stuff.

Was also ranked number 3 in the world on Ashes Cricket 2009 on Xbox 360 online.
