AB as Captain today :-D Assuming he got the MoM points too ? Pakistan have been woeful batting here. Hope Canada can steal the headlines a little to ease the pain.

Got Tahir, Gul and Afridi (c) today. I was torn between Tahir and Afridi for captain, so watch him not even get a bowl

Not a great day for me. Had Smith (SA) and Borren (Ned) who did very little in the first game and currently have Afridi who is not doing much better in he current game. Let's hope he can skittle out the rest of the Canadians.

On the plus side though I still have 27 transfers left.

Cheers Bri, he's taken 2 wickets and has hardly gone for a run since you posted that

Edit: Make that 3 8-)

Captain Afridi ripping through Canada at the minute.

Could do with Gul chipping in with a couple more as well.

My pleasure. Pleased I remembered to change the captaincy from Smith to Afridi this morning.

And now he's got a run out too :-D

Shame loads of people seem to have him as their captain today because he's gonna get shed loads of points.

If my maths is right (which is normally isnt) then assuming Afridi got MoM then he got 330 points, or 660 for being captain.

I've calculated it as 345 points assuming he was directly responsible for the run out. I've also checked the line-ups for the top 10 in the table and 8 of us had him in our team. I'm up to 2nd. Is that you up to 5th now?

Yep. Seems I was getting excited about Afridi getting all them wickets, but since he was pretty much everyone's captain it's not made much difference.

Did you check whether he got out batsmen/all rounders, or bowlers? Because I think two of his wickets were bowlers, which are worth less points.

Top of the league. 8-)

Afridi (c), Tahir and De Villiers did all the damage today; although I still only have 19 transfers left. Going to have to use them wisely from now.

Yeah, I'm quite sad so I checked that. ;-) Only one of his dismissals was a bowler so that probably explains how our calculations differ. The other 4 were either batsmen, wicket-keepers or all-rounders

One of the downsides to this game is that you can't see how many points each player has scored per game - you just get their aggregate total so far. Unless, of course, I'm not looking at it properly.

It will once we get to the knock out games, because it shows total scores and how many they've got in that round, but the groups is one round.
