did watson take any catches or bowl his overs cheaper than colly ie run rate?

not sure exactly but i think points are scored for a better run rate and also if the bowlers gets recognised batsmen out

or they could have made a mistake :lol:
 
Am I right in thinking that youve gotta keep changing your team during the group stages to get more points?

Eg Tendulkar got 18pts but I could replace him with Chanderpaul as he has a game coming up?

That's what I've been doing.

Took Harbahjan out after he gained few points; put Broad in but he also was underwhelming and have now subsequently taken him out and stuck Steyn in.
 
i thought i had a great weekend with sehwag, jawardene and dilshan scoring big runs but i am nowhere in the league.

if you are serious and trying to win this, you have to change your team and especially captain, to which teams are playing on the day.

once a game has started, you wont score points if you change a captain/team, during that game though

also changing captain does not count as a transfer, unless you are bringing a new player into your selections
 
Got 3 players in my team playing today, after bringing them in last night - Kamran Akmal (c), Umar Gul and some Kenyan called Ngochie or something.

Got a feeling I should have made Gul captain. :confused:

i brought s ajmal in and the sod has been dropped :evil:

thought he was a first choice for the pakistan team
 
I had Ajmal in my original team. Unsure why I dropped him. Glad I did. I only made Akmal captain as I thought he was meant to be a big hitter, thought I could rely on a good strike-rate bonus, and 6 bonus. :evil:

Kamran best have a decent game as keeper. 10 catches off the bowling of Gul. :cool:
 
usual kiss of death here but i have younis khan as my skipper today and he is looking good so far
 
Put Gul in as assumed he would be opening the bowling but apparently he doesn't like the new ball. So he won't be in again!
 
Team sorted for the next 2 days.

J Botha captain tomorrow for SA, which will then switch to Watson for the Aussies on Friday. :cool:
 
Just Amla and Bravo tomorrow for me. Made a horror decision to go for Razzaq instead of Afridi today. 2 Aussies and 2 Kiwi's in the side for Friday.
