Creativity

We started the season off well, we had intensity and played attacking football.

The drop off is 100% tactics. Now its got us to 40 points and its got the job done...great.

But as far as im concered its a limiting tactic. If you play like we have for long enough you lose that attacking instinct. You start making the wrong runs, the wrong decisions, hesitation starts creeping in and all of sudden something that used to come naturally needs to be thought about. Gradually, momentum is lost and it becomes a grind.

Regis done a cracking job this season but he needs to find a balance between attack and being solid. If we keep going how we are we will just fizzle out into mediocrity. Its not a player issue - they can create and score...its tactics.

We have a problem with creativity. We've only scored 30 goals, the third lowest in the league.

Today the problem was caused by the way we set up on that pitch. Passing it around the back, trying to play it through midfield. Absolutely brain dead tactics.

One major issue is our fullbacks. Aside from Mukiele, who’s pretty good going forward (even though his strengths lie more in defence), none of them offer much in attack.Hume, Cirkin, and Reinildo each have varying levels of defensive ability...Reinildo being the standout, an experienced and reliable defender, but none of them pose much of a threat to the opposition. If I were on the other side, I wouldn’t be worried about any of them.

Another problem is the lack of a genuine backup striker for Brobbey. Isidor simply isn’t at the required level, while Mayenda has promise but remains too raw. Today Brobbey would have made it a completely different game and the drop off is huge. Quality forwards are hard to find at this level.

As for the wingers, some aren’t good enough now, and others probably never will be. Our best wide player is a £2.5m journeyman on a two-year contract, that alone sums up the state of things.

I think given how poor out wide players are, Le Fee probably needs to play on the left wing. Nee idea who plays right wing like...

Who can? None of the players we brought in scored many goals in poorer leagues before they came here. It was always going to be an issue
