Swings and roundabouts sir. Sometimes on double early or on again til daft o'clock. Sometimes not busy/work cleared so boss alright with being off. Mind today I've just put a day in as need to flatten some leave.
 
probably not classed as a 'craft' beer but just had a couple of pints of 'on the nose' red ale from the donnington brewery near cheltenham.
don't know how a beer from down there finds it's way up to a little village pub up here. quite nice all the same though.
 
Went to a beer festival at Darlo last Saturday, found a nice 4% Pear Chilli Cider. Lovely initial taste of Pear, with quiet hot chilli notes.

Just cleared all my watched threads. Still wasn’t getting notifications for this bloody thread.

Anyway. Sorted for Villa tickets so having a stop over. Was looking forward to going to Sommar again, but looking online it’s gone out of business. Sure I read a few of the decent places went the journey too. What’s the score in Birmingham for decent pints now? Obvs will be going to the Colmore and the Wellington
