Isis is around 7.50 for 5% keg pales, stouts. I find micro pubs, like yours seems to be, mean eyed cat etc to be a bit cheaper than places like Keel tavern, Town Wall

Depends on brewer too surely not just the abv. Some class brewers knock out banging lower abvs compared to others and not all same abv beers will cost the same to produce.

Vaux orange choc stout on tap at ER. Delicious. Also got a cracking NEIPA on (Sureshot).
Surprised there still that left. It is great like. Never thought I’d like an orange stout, but it was class. Went back & bought more. Helps that the base beer is class like.

Not sure I’ve had it on keg or cask yet. Cask would be class.

My claim to fame is many years 2 pints of a 10% impy stout (Durham Temptation) in about less than an hour. This was after around 6-8 pints of normal strength stuff. On an afternoon.
I then went home to babysit. Missus was waiting for me to get home so she could go out (Xmas do). We passed on the drive, I got away with it.
This was before thirds and two thirds were a thing. I got a pint intending it to be my last as had to go home. My mate, in a round with me, got his round in. Another pint of impy stout for me.
Nowadays I drink anything 7-8% in 2/3 normally. 10%+ is a 1/3
Saw that. Better selection than BHV.
