Craft Beer

We went to Brussels and had a few beers of the type you are discussing.

I think I’ve told this story before but after a few Delirium Tremons I went to go to the bogs and I thought I was going over!

It’s 8.5% and the old pink elephant gets you there trust me.

And this was not my first rodeo I can assure you.
Absolutely none of this happened.

Supermarket carry on. Asda I think.

Had a cask porter, Maximus & Jaipur last night. Still struggle with cask pales & ipas. Just feels like the flatness fucks the beer.

However, the likes of Maximus is far superior to bottles.

Aye, dark beer on cask, light on keg.

Ordered a can of Putty last night. It'll be nice but not DIPA of the year.

North Shields, Tynemouth,Whitley Bay and Monkseaton later, some decent beers supped no doubt.
Had half pint of putty last night in town mouse on way to city hall , very nice £6.90 for a half though, I know its 8% but still think its a bit steep.

Round 2 of the Lambic trail weekend in a few hours.

Did Free Trade, Cumberland Arms, Donzoko, Mouse and Cat yday. Some superb offerings. Donzoko quickly becoming one of my fave taprooms. Spunked another 60 sheets on take outs there as well

North Shields did Aperture and Enigma, obviously nowt in the station there. Tynemouth left the station in search of food, went to Head of Steam, absolutely shit.

Only place I like outside of the station is Barca. Not a great selection for us craftys but enough to tick over (usually have a Two by Two offering on). Plonk ones arse down in the window and watch the world go by for a few hours.
