Craft Beer

Wylam Brewery’s Jakehead, Hickey The Rake and Triple Hazy Jane are just beer heaven.
Sorry like, the last two couldn’t lace the boots of the first one. The second two wouldn’t even know what laces are when it comes to Jakehead.

Still got an Imperial Jakehead I need to get stuck into. Might do it tonight.

Change of plan.

Looper taste tests. Thought I had a cream oat looper knocking about too, apparently not.
Where is ya?

I got the three boxed ones to keep for Xmas and the other two to have tomorrow after we beat Arsenal (or drown my sorrows) I'm not sure if they qualify as craft beers as Fullers is an old established brewery but if you like old school beers they do them very well. I'm just glad that when Asahi bought them they didn't f**k the beers up as has happened with other takeovers.

I was tempted by the specials, and will probably get them if Trembling Madness get them in,as that's my main online place these days

I got the vintage ale from Waitrose and it was £1.50 cheaper than on the Fullers website which is where I got the other two.
I ordered two of each to keep one for next xmas (I bet you have heard that before :D ) When the boxed arrived there was an extra
two bottles of the porter so I will send them back, you definitely haven't heard that before!!
Review. The West Coast isn’t a patch on the original
The original is bob on, I am at Sainsburys tomorrow so will grab some again.

I’ll probably need to get through the random IPAs I have before buying more Looper like.

Had the steady rolling man triple ipa in the town mouse. Very good but might have been beaten by a moersleutel toaster pale ale which was great

Looks good but the blackboards are out of focus
Not had an Moersleutel apart from stouts. Which they’re obviously very well known for.

Called in Rehills today, selection was better than last couple of times i've been. Nice to see Vaux cans in there again
Normally use Rehills as an excuse to stick up on Jakehead. Could probably order online cheaper.

Was in Keswick last week in The Square Orange (fantastic little place) and they had ‘talking out of tune’ on draught. It’s a DDH Hazy pale 5.5% was superb. Not sure if anyone has tried it?

Absolutely love all the hazey stuff me

Review. Shite. Not sure how to make this more eloquent. Tastes moldy. Like the colour green.

That BrewDog Icecream stout is very nice

I’d forgotten that these are a thing. I still have a boxed 2012 bottle. Also 2012 and 2013 Batemans vintages.

Damn you. More money to lay out.
