Craft Beer

Anybody seen these in Morrisons up here yet?
Went to Tescos today & looked for it. It’s not in. Cos I said Morrisons 🫣

Last one of these. RIP sweet prince of darkness 😪 If you’re watching Mr & Mrs Vaux, you know what to do 👆

Maybe a last one before bed. There’s beer to be drank in the airport at 7 tomorrow morning.

There's nowhere near the ground as the area is shit. Most drink in city centre then tram/bus over. I'd recommend that, or head into Chorlton, there's a few good craft places there. @FlyingLotus will know more as it's his neck of the woods.
Yes if not doing the city centre then Chorlton’s a decent shout. Could do the Chorlton Tap, Marble Beer House, Fell taproom and the Beagle (they also serve decent New York style pizza). Head is my favourite bar in Stretford, which is about a half hour walk from the ground. Avoid the Gorse Hill pub

No idea how busy it’ll be with fans though! I don’t tend to go out drinking before/after the home games.

Parking at the bairns place in Longsight, then into town. Will probably head to the Sadlers cat, cos there’s a few mentioned it on the away thread.

Off to New York Sunday and have wangled permission to do some breweries so any recommendations welcome, preferably close together. Looking at a whole day in Brooklyn.

Lads 🥰

Got to be about a 1/3 of the price to back home?

Bought one, not sure when I’ll drink it like. Trying to keep myself right for the match. Maybe Monday morning before coming home. Trying to keep myself right for the match. Drank different stuff yesterday, Guinness, IPAs, leffe brun was the winner. Was akip by 8 like. Got a full 12hrs sleep.

It isn't craft but I didn't know where else to post it

F. Robinson's 'Old Tom Ale' at Sainsbury's. 8.5%, £2.70 for a 330ml bottle. Absolutely delicious stuff.

"Rich, malty, and warming, Old Tom has a distinctive deep port wine finish, with bitter hops balanced by the heady aromas of dark fruit."

Apparently.

Used to get the occasional bottle from Tesco back in the day but don't remember a great deal about it and it was before I had Untappd.

Nice beer, that. I always enjoy it.
Northern Monk - Heathen Club Outlaw - Double Hazy IPA - 8.0%

I’m not massively fussed about most IPAs but this was canny. Definitely had that tropical hazy thing going on, and it tasted reasonably strong.

It’s good like. Thumbs up recommendation from Longy.

One of the first strong beers I drank before I invented craft beer

Freddy’s back on at Sheepfolds. It’s f***ing quality as well. They really look after their lines in here.

Saddlers Cat in Mcr didn’t open in time for the match yesterday, so diverted to North Westward Ho. Their pales on keg are lovely like, and it was criminal how empty the place was

Anyway. Next away trip, Chelsea. Looking forward to it.

I’m going bankrupt this season like 🥰

Latest Northern Monk Dark Matter in Sainsbury's @Longy its nice, bitter chocolate and coffee, £4.50 and on the 4 for 3
I’ll give it a bash.

Can’t say I’m on top form at the minute like, but this bad boy needs chugging

Getting stuck in
