Craft Beer

I know you guys don't like me indulging in gentle ribbing, but I can't resist, even though I've tried. Tiramisu impy stout with cocoa powder (sic).
Id concur. However the tiramisu impy without the cocoa is fairly standard these days. And in case you were wondering, it's not like having the actual dessert. People often make this mistake, it will have some notes of but the rest is exaggerated marketing and those into the scene know.

Almasty taproom reopening soon.
Is it seasonal opening? Been a while since I was over that way. Think the last time I was in there was just after COVID when things were starting to open up again but you had to sit outside.

They seem a strange brewery because they go through waves of their beers being in a few pubs then you don't seem to see them for months.

Not sure. Been closed for years.

They were brilliant then shit, then seemed to disappear. Think they've gone through a few head brewers over the years, but seem to be trying to build things up again.

Got my £20 Vaux voucher through for being a subscriber. Bought the new Sunderland kit pales & a few brown ales for the train on Friday.

Also bought a load of mackesons snarl. 11am train, so it’ll be a long day. I’ll try & take it easy.
