Craft Beer

This has become unintentionally hilarious, references to "swinging" which I sincerely hope is referring to punching 'n that, not the other kind, & offending some sensitive souls.

I'll leave you to it, boys. I'll be heading out for a pint later, 1 of the pubs within walking distance prides itself on having the guest ales from breweries within a 40 mile radius. If it's cloudy, it's going back...

...apologies, I didn't know you guys took it all so seriously, I shall repent.

Grow up man with your bollix. Many pubs have young kids working in them, usually working off uni fees or first job stuff. If you frequent CAMRA employed, only men over 40 with beards & an intimate knowledge of hop genealogy, then well done you. The rest of us live in the real world.
& guess what, pubs who take beer seriously educate their staff on what they’re serving. If you’ve got punters who aren’t interested, they’ll not have to make an effort.

Saturday night I was talked through a few beers in the Isis cos a clip wasn’t clear what it was. I was offered a sample too. People go into the bar because of the quality of the beer.

Well, that's a low blow & if the proper "craft beer" guys will stoop to such levels of rancour then they sure are a force to be reckoned with, the Special Ale Suppers of the SMB, so to speak.

I've learned the error of my ways & shan't bother you guys any more, wouldn't want to intrude.

Cheers. You've threatened to fuck off a couple of times already today and you're still here so hopefully you're a man of your word this time.

I know when I'm not wanted, mate!!!
You’ve threatened to leave about 5 times now man, either do it or just chill out, accept we all like different things and enjoy the conversation. We’re quite happy to talk beer with anyone as long as they don’t come out swinging with random incorrect nonsense.

What about twigs in beer though?

Look, I'm happy to disappear but you lot keep putting notifications up on my little bell thing. And the "swinging" thing? Seriously? IMHO cloudy beer looks rank & off. Countless breweries spent centuries making their ale look clear & palatable. We now have a fashion, started amongst the hipster crowd & the beard/beanie hat/jeans with turn ups brigade that want to tell me it adds flavour. So would adding Bisto but I don't want that in there either.

You keep drinking your bright beers mate
Personally I’m not a fan of drinking a beer cleared by using isinglass which is a product used to clear beers made from the bladders of sturgeon - talking of additives

Each to their own though

Nice of you to confirm for you it's all about what it looks like. Rather Hipster.

He's never going to recover from the additives faux pas. Steaming in and made himself look a right clem.

Went to Low Quay and Flash House breweries yesterday in North Shields. Not loads of their own stuff on offer but what I had was nice though and some nice settings, particularly Low Quay.

Had a few hazy pales so dread to think about all the shite that was in them :(
