Bizarrely, University of Coventry have something to do with Scarborough's Flamingo Land stadium

Don’t believe a word that comes from Sisu, they couldn’t lie straight in bed. Looking further into it no plans have been drawn up nor has a definitive site been identified as yet. Like someone alluded to above I think it’s a cynical attempt to appease the EFL into letting us continue to play outside our City, we do have an agreement to potentially continue at St Andrews for another 2 seasons.

Is there any kind of stipulation as to where you can play after that or do you just get another 2 years at Birmingham?
Are the club looking at other options for a permanent base or is this situation just going to rumble along?

Did you leave Highfield Road to renting The Ricoh straight away or did you fall on hard times and have to sell it and rent it back?

When we couldn’t agree a deal to play at the Ricoh this time last year the EFL authorised a potential 3 year groundshare with Birmingham providing there was evidence that we were planning on returning to our home City ie either a long term agreement at the Ricoh or evidence of plans to build a new stadium. One year down the line we now have an idea to build the bullsh*t arena just as we are rumoured to be negotiating a possible return to the Ricoh. Without wishing to bore you to death court cases have been ongoing between Sisu, the City Council and Ricoh owners Wasps for many years. The answer to your question is that it’s likely to rumble on I’m afraid.

New owners selling our ground to raise money and then entering into a rental agreement is one of my biggest fears for our club. Wonder if it can be identified as a community asset to protect it?

Whilst I have no love for Coventry, the football club or the city, it is atrocious that they and their fans have lost their 'home' from what originally seemed like a position of strength. It can happen to almost any club with unscrupulous owners.

Would I be right in saying any potential Warwick university site would be as far from the town centre as the Ricoh ,so a lack of pubs etc for the match day experience .I personally think a stadium within walking distance of town is a distinct advantage ,both us and the Mags have this
