I saw a stat recently, I'm not googling it cos I'm at work, that stated that in the USA there are more females in prison and on the register for child sex offences than men.

I think it’s important, no matter how horrendous, to get child abuse stories out into the public domain. Looking the other way and pretending it doesn’t happen is inexcusable.
As long as there is even one child somewhere in the world suffering sexual, mental, or physical abuse, then as adults, we are failing them.
