Aye, not long to gan now. Feet up in the garden, cold beers/vino, a good cricket book and Marty on the wireless.
It really is my idea of heaven. Mind I'd be lost without the Beeb coverage with living away.
Telegraph Fantasy Cricket as well. Addicting stuff and not very good for work productivity.

Lets hope the floodlight game at the height of summer is better than the farce against Worcs last year or the dubious delights of Egypt v Saudi Arabia in the World Cup might just turn my head!!

I see we're playing at South North again in May. Can anyone remember if you could pay on the door last year? Great fixture and fancy it again.

Another fixture I'll miss out on, I'm not prepared to travel up there so lose out on a *home* fixture.
Hopefully not too long, hopefully not miss too much cricket.
Bad crack for such a young lad to get cartilage problems though.
I tore my cartilage when I was 21 and not had trouble since, I don't think it's necessarily a wear and tear issue.
I don't follow other counties that closely so I don't know how we compare but our quicks seem to be always getting long term injuries. Are we unlucky? Do we have a higher proportion of younger bowlers just going through growing pains? Or are we messing up?
