Yeah mad that just saying that on another forum, where Somerset fans post hoping to get an answer.

Vaughan hasn't gone past 36 yet from 11 knocks so a bit of protecting him. But then where's Dickson and Umeed for them instead!

Yeah and even taking into account them top order batsmen been out of the form to open with Davey who regularly bats 10 and has been 11 seems weird, Gregory normally 7 or 8.

Surely others could have made the step up if they wanted to drop the players you mention.

Umeed was in the 13 and then Dickson got a hand injury.

Very odd like! Any English player should be busting a gut to bat top 3 as it's the best way to get into the England side.

Been a few times so far this year.

Ahmed 7-2-12-1 figures now. Good for him given lack of bowling so far this year

Seems a better fit for him at his age.

Not sure he was always an opener in youth cricket

Big ask opener at that age and bowling
