County Cricket 2024

Maybe just a thought Surrey would have been better trying to knock off just over 200 with 70 odd overs at less than 3 an over.

Then blocking from the very start, they had a more than capable batting line to do so as well, but seemed to block from almost ball one allowing Somerset spinners to get into a pattern with no pressure on them.

Has to be a special mention for Tom Banton mind coming in at 11 for Somerset when injured and his innings could have made the difference.

Looks like he will be injured for finals day on Saturday which is a real shame for the lad as has had a great season

Aye that’s an absolutely mad decision to just block the everlasting shit out of it. Fair enough if the target is out of reach, but not even three an over! Madness.

Was terrible mindset from them, the pitch was fine, you could score runs.

I see Sibley was at the heart of it with 56 from 183 and a strike rate of 30.60.

Yeah especially with the capability of their team, I have nowt against Surrey but a class side like them should not be approaching a final innings like that with so many overs to get relatively low score.

Roach was very good at the end, Rock solid defence but also congratulated every player

Sibley and Burns opening gives me nightmares, wake up with cold sweats

Literally win them the title too.
