County Cricket 2024

Alan Richardson was always good value back in the day when he was a player. Always had good craic up here with the crowd when fielding on the boundary.

Yeah watched him a few times, he never stopped. He's a very popular bloke amongst the Worcestershire fanbase. I thought it was a nice touch yesterday when he posed for a group photo, things like that always raise a smile as it's bloody expensive watching your team away for 4 days.

Notts struggling again tonight at Old Trafford currently 28/4 after 5 overs. Looks like they are going to finish bottom of the Northern group. There batting is as bad as it was at the Riverside.

Maybe they need a change from their recruitment strategy of kolpaks and Worcs talent.

For a county their size and with test match income I'm always surprised with how few players they bring through their academy. Basically contribute zero to the national side.

Watching Surrey v Yorkshire in the One Day Cup at present in the absence of any other meaningful cricket.
Leicestershire 88 all out today.

Trevaskis got a 6 ball duck.

Shame it didn't work out but Head Coach at that club seems like an impossible job at the moment. Makes Hull City look well run
Majority of Yorkies will be happy, must have been awful for them to have a black coach in charge
They're all over him on social media, and I don't think much of it is for cricketing reasons

Middlesex beat Kent by a mile and Northants about to beat Worcs by a mile.

Massive help to us teams below us beating those above us group now back open @chopsfc007

Could do with Lancs getting this getting 94 off 80 for the last wicket

Hopefully look it's the third tournament in terms of priority we are just a bit too reliant on lees and Ackerman

Didn't spot the other A group game.

Derbyshire just about to beat Somerset to go top of the group on 8 points.

We actually dropped to 7th

Despite me earlier expressing that results were good for us.

But it's definitely bunched everyone together which gives everyone a chance.

Still think we're going to need to win all 4 to go through, maybe 3 if we can win one by a big margin to get NRR into positive.
