Could Leicester go bust?

Listening to the "experts" on the TV, for the majority of the season the players haven't performed. We have been there and nothing highlights more than Leicester how grateful we should be for the work ethic and togetherness of our club.

How did they financially cheat? I've not seen any of it reported before.
They breached championship spending rules when they got promoted, but argued the EFL couldn't punish them as part of their financial period included a period they were in the Premier league (whereby there are a different set of rules). Then when they were in the premier league again they used the same loophole to say part of their period was in the championship

So they basically had a 2 year period where neither body were able to punish them on the basis they didn't have a full year under their rules. That's why they were hit with a points deduction this season, as the EFL were waiting for them to come back down so they could hit them with a deduction.

If they get back to the premier league i suspect they'd be starting with a deduction again

2002 - go and look it up. Went into administration, blamed it on the itv Digital deal collapsing and left all unsecured creditors out of pocket. Nothing to do with with internal in-fighting over club ownership/leadership, the money loaned to build the new stadium or the dodgy transfer deals, oh no......

Quite sad it all stems from that awful helicopter crash but even still this is mental mismanagement since
I was thinking it was winning the premier league then trying to maintain a high standard of player at the club afterwards. In hindsight if they had of just bought within their means after winning the Premier none of this would have happened. Of course their owners having financial difficulties hasn’t helped but that’s why these PSR (or whatever they are called now) rules were brought in, so that clubs can operate within their means.

Someone should be able to get a bargain in Fatawu
The sales of him and Monga will secure Leicester future. When we went down we didnt have players to shift for decent money really. We recouped say 20m. Despite the performances this season, you could see them recouping north of 40m on player sales with the two mentioned before covering most of that

I feel for their genuine fans but not the players and management.
We tend to generalise other supporters by the actions and comments of a minority whereas most fans of clubs are decent, the Leicester ones I know and have come across have been good people.
I hope the club doesn’t fold but think that it’s good for the game and lower leagues when the bigger clubs take a plunge and Spurs, W Ham or Forest will add to this.

He's never impressed me in the 2 or 3 times I've seen him
I think his heads gone and that’s no t surprising. He has been one of the few there demanding more of the team and the staff but the apathy is astonishing…nobody thrives in that environment

Leicester didn't
Or did they?

anticipating a “no”

They’re in no position to get 40m
