Could Leicester go bust?

I'm laughing because they were smug when they were PL Champions and tried to take the Mickey when they came to the SOL.
There was one prick who came on here particularly irritating. Knew it all. We tried to explain the facts of football to him but no Leicester were on the verge of becoming rivals to Utd ,Liverpool, Barca, Bayern, Juve etc becos they were the only club in the County and some sort of mini economic boom taking place there.
If a club hasn’t become big previously then there’s very little chance of it happening at all.

I have only know one Leicester fan, and was exactly like this. Married my wife's (no) best mate (no) and proclaimed he had laughed so much when Sunderland lost The Charlton on pens. Complete tw@t. They are divorced now. Lucky her.

They look in serious bother. They will need to sell the entire squad and the under 21's and bring about 18 free transfers in on the lowest wages possible. Mothball the training ground and lay off hundreds of staff. The total wage bill last season was £154M. Even with £185M income they still made a loss of £70M, they are also nuts deep into that Aussie bank for £100M in loans. King Power are skint now too.
And if they mothball the training ground they will lose cat 1 academy status meaning they lose all their best players from 8 upwards. Disaster. Do they have many on massive contracts out of contract this summer?

There’s 7 apparently. Ricardo Pereira, Harry Winks, Jordan Ayew, Patson Daka, Asmir Begovic, Jamaal Lascelles and Wanya Marcal.

Love to see Harry Winks in the engine room of a team that crashed into League 1. Absolute fraud of a footballer.

He’s maintained a level of shiteness all throughout his time at Leicester. Donald Love levels of performance in the prem and championship will probably look the same in league one too

Might be a good time to try and poach some of their better academy players. We've been that league 1 club who have their best talent taken for pennies, time for us to now act like a big fish.

I’m seeing comments on Twitter where people are saying they’re not in as bad a mess as we were when we dropped to L1.

To me it would seem spending all your parachute money early with a massively overpaid squad is just as bad or worse than when we’d promised our parachute money to Ellis short to clear the debt he’d paid off.

This. It's difficult to take out the impact on innocent parties in all this (non-playing staff, suppliers etc.) but if any club deserves to go into administration it's this bunch of cheating *****.
How did they financially cheat? I've not seen any of it reported before.
