It’s not just the local press that are wet it’s the nationals too.
The national’s north east reporters are nearly all mags, the likes of bird, caulkin, hope etc. They’re quick to take the piss after our latest drubbing, but never seem to take the club to task or ask difficult questions. Then again it suits their personal agenda for us to be shit so why would they want to rock the boat.
