Yea, but that I think is a consequence in part of where in the line up they are batting him.

Still every cloud and all that, he should now aim to put it all behind him and play well for Durham.

Stokes has blown it. Won't be in the squad for Aus which is a shame as I could see him looking a lot more threatening on those wickets. Woakes and Gurney have looked bang average but kept the run rate down at least.

Stokes has been poor this tour, but Cook puts no faith in him, he clearly doesn't want him in the team

He is bowling well in the nets apparently
 
I think Stokes isn't playing with confidence.

He knows his place is vulnerable and feels under pressure to take wickets and get runs. Asian surfaces don't suit him so he's not going to pull up any trees this series. He can't score big runs being so low down in the order either.

Stokes can't win whatever he does.

Nope. Cook gets pelters from me but very few captains and selectors would persist with a player in that sort of form. Frustrating as he clearly has the talent but his mentality doesn't seem right ATM.

Asian wickets don't suit any of our other seamers but they manage to go for less than 10 an over.
