Consumer assistance with faulty goods

Got an engineer to try and fix it after it stopped working. Engineer said "where's the filter for the heat exchanger?"

There wasn't one. Never supplied, not mentioned in the manual. Not noticed by the previous repair bloke under warranty.
Just playing devils advocate ,have you confirmed it should have one ?
No mention in the manual suggests not .It's took a while for the missing bit to have an affect .
If you get the manufacturer to confirm it should have ,I'd go dIrect to them
There must have been a batch ,not just yours

Just don’t get the connection between a missing filter for a heat exchanger and the machine not working .

Is it that it’s you trying to convince yourself that the two are connected ?

Badmouth them on Twitter and Facebook tagging them in. They don’t like that sort of thing on their social media feeds.
