After England, I was hoping the Windies won it like. Watching them dance about was class.

Hope it kicks them on............

On another note, I'm a little glad that the Sri Lankans didnt win, after the pitch's they prepared for the semi's and final. Serves them right.

What was wrong with the wickets? Only saw the Windies innings today but there didn't seem to be too much wrong with the wicket to me, not like it was spinning around corners or anything

Agreed. With their stupid f***ing mystery spinners and all that shite. Get them to Durham in April man, they won't have a clue on our pitches.

The wickets for the semi's and final were completely different to the rest of the tournament. They were devoid of any grass, pace.........they were made for their mystery bowlers. Its not about spinning round corners but coming onto the bat which it didn't. Did you not see how many slower balls their seamer's were bowling? or hear the stump mike? Every time the bat hit the ball it sounded shit. I know I'm being slightly pedantic as on the whole it was a good tournament and I'm glad the Windies won.

Not being funny but it's Sri Lanka, what did you expect the wickets to be like? Windies didn't have much trouble batting in the semis although admittedly the Aussie attack isn't great

Yes. He looked knackered on our flight back from Sri Lanka yesterday like. He was also on our flight to Sunderland North from Dubai too. Not sure why though.

The atmosphere at the Final was tremendous and congratulataions to the Sri Lankans who stayed behind to cheer WI on their lap of honour.

Chris Gayle even got a bigger cheer than the slinger when the teams were announced before the game too.

Have the West Indies actually got any propper cricketers who are good in the real format of the game? Gayle okay... (Even though his technique is appalling, he just has an amazing eye)... errrm..... Is Dwayne Bravo still a decent genuine all rounder or has he packed in bowling? Darren Sammy half decent medium pacer batting at 8 or 9...

They have nowt else.
