Certainly I won't be popping any corks until its announced that they've definitely left. Not prepared to sell, not a bid placed etc, only when they're actually out of the door. And without sounding negative, although I do think kld has the right intentions and deserves a bloody good crack at it, I'm certainly not convinced that all will be rosy when he takes full control (if he does). At least I'll feel he wants the same as us though, as opposed to simply wanting to flip us for profit as soon as possible

You're fine mate, I'm just naturally defensive about the club after all these years. I think we're on the same lines and want the best but hate the presence of D&M. Sadly no amount of foot stamping will get rid of them, only money will do that and only KLD can supply it, there's no one else except, perhaps, Sartori.

So my view is that those claiming an international billionaire is the puppet of D&M, etc, etc etc, are doing our club more harm than good. If he was to walk we'd be absolutely screwed imo.

Ha ha the state of you man. You were 100% wrong and attacking anyone who knew the shareholdings, I posted the 41,34,20,5 up here for weeks and jokers like you were calling me all kinds. I never attacked you, you waded into me if you care to remember. It was obvious that KLD was/is running the club, it's him and his family advisors as directors, he even publicly stated in December that he had a "Governance Majority". As I also stated the other 3 couldn't care about that, their rights to income is 100% all that matters to them.

The only thing KLD appears to have control of is the right to appoint the board of directors. Madrox guys won't care about that, they know he is bringing in highly qualified and experienced lawyers and accountants. That's pretty much where his controls ends, he can run the day to day business of the football club. However they all still have the rights to income pari passu with their holdings of the ordinary shares, that is what's important to them. Equally important (particularly for most fans), KLD is in no position to dilute the others down by initiating a rights issue, a one of such magnitude that Donald and Methven couldn't afford to take up their pre-emption rights, possibly even Sartori too. The Madrox guys aren't daft and had good advisors too, the shareholders agreement will without doubt state that something like 75%-100% of ordinary shareholders must agree upon raising of new share capital, standard advice in this set up to be fair. Everything will be in place to protect the Madrox investors stakes.

Pointless us going around in circles on this, I am guessing we both want what's best for SAFC. My self and others were trying to raise awareness of the absolute fact that KLD is not a majority shareholder, unfortunately quite a lot of our fans were under the impression he was, the statements from the club from day 1 have been disingenuous and in my opinion deliberately misleading.

I am massively pissed off with the club at the moment but will still renew my season card.

That's all fair tbh. I can only repost what I posted earlier in the week.* Everyone, including KLD imo, wants these lowlifes out of the club but match/street protests will only continue to cause friction which affects the team. I believed, and still do believe, that KLD controls the club and has always had a plan in place that involves SAFC progressing, getting new investment in and those two out. Having supporters lump him in as a liar, with Donald & Methven, is very poor and doesn't reflect well on us tbh. I'm no happy clappy naive idiot but I don't believe there's a better option than KLD. If anyone has something that isn't sheer lunacy about the supporters having a whip round to buy the club or Jordan Henderson stepping in then I'm all ears.

"*LD says he has a controlling interest and I believe him. Nothing has changed imo. D & M are still shareholders as we always knew, KLD is going nowhere and there'll be no protest. Two southern clowns bought the club to make money, what a surprise. People we don't like have shares in the club and we want out of L1. If KLD cant run this club better than he is because of the 41 59 carry on we might as well have Billy the window cleaner as figurehead.

The PR around the takeover in hindsight has all the hallmarks of Methven and I'm amazed KLDs advisors went along with the smoke and mirrors that we had from Madrox previously. I suspect those same advisors have called time on the illusion this week as the Dreyfus name could be/is about to suffer some reputational damage as pressure mounted for clarification.

Needs really positive engagement from him with the fans now. People have had time to cool off. I think it would be helpful if he made sure Methven keeps out of club business too, he's not a director.

One positive thing that's happened is Alex Neil, I think he's a great appointment and we are lucky to get him. He's got a heck of a job on from this point though.
