Sick of saying this. It was Speakman in death row last few days.
Recruited better younger players, academy better, retained players, club infrastructure and now manager.
you're bigging him up cos he 'retained players'? well done Speako! What a genius at his job!

as usual you don't mention the loan players or the lack of defenders

Same here , enraged keyboarders on here shouting about lies and subterfuge, I have no idea what they are talking about. Why would I have the slightest interest in what percentage of shares KLD owns. In fact why would I have any interest in KLD ?
If I owned shares then fair enough. I will be renewing next season ( I didn't this, because of covid).
What goes on in the board room ? nowt to do with me.
Stay away next season then.

I’ll retain my own beliefs thanks not those of the execution squad. You’d do a canny job for the mag owners some of you lot, hacking up academy coaches for a score draw.

You're mistaken with me tbh. I know fck all about takeovers and shares and protests.
I'm on board with Alex Neil, and actually on the fence about Speakman - proof of the pudding comes at the end of the season
but you go way overboard praising him and I find it mystifying theway you keep ignoring loans (which don't help us long term particularly)
It's curious how the "NDA" seems to have ended the day before the meeting with supporters groups isn't it.
I would say that's a good thing though? Otherwise if they just announced it at the meeting our fan representative would have no time to react thoughtfully. This way he can go prepared which is better imo

I don’t what your point is on loans tbh but I mean cirkin matete stewart hume. All the right kinds of players. Deals lined for Hoff, Dajaku probably Broadhead. Looks good to me. Forward thinking. It’s the olders they’ve done less well with which probably isn’t Speakman. I think he’s fucked the last fortnight and with Evans and retaining young players (not just Speakman) is progress. I just try to be fair in the midst of emotion.

No surprise to me I said all will be revealed soon, I first started doubting the statements that first came out after the phoney takeover others did too something’s not right about this.Continious denials on here from many,he’s a billionaire came the cry the bandits are gone. More loans and frees next to fuck all spent had their trademark all over it. A puppet in the top seat with another as DOF, 69 % between the three of them, Goebels doing manager interviews in The boys ear directing him, so he’s either in with them or a pasty, it f***ing reeks the whole affair . What happens now do we just take it on the chin living in hope or what ?

The Athletic has to take credit. As soon as a press outlet started asking the right questions, the Club realised it couldn't keep things covered up, and folded.

Our local "journalists" could learn a thing or two from this.
Controlling interest

Understanding a Controlling Interest

A controlling interest is, by definition, at least 50% of the of a given company plus one. However, a person or group can achieve a controlling interest with less than 50% ownership in a company if that person or group owns a significant portion of its voting shares, as not every share carries a vote in shareholder meetings.

Having a controlling interest gives a or group of shareholders significant influence over the actions of a company. A party can achieve a controlling interest as long as the ownership stake in a company is proportionately substantial relative to the total voting stock.

With the majority of large public companies, for example, a shareholder with much less than 50% of the outstanding shares may still have a lot of influence at the company. Single shareholders with as little as 5% to 10% ownership can push for seats on the board or enact changes at shareholder meetings by publicly lobbying for them, giving them control.

There we go. A few climbing down the beanstalk now.
Still pissed off they own so many like just cos they’re absolute dicks, but people saying he is a puppet are also dicks.

Ellis Short's due diligence seems only to have been for the viability of his return & nothing else, and the Madrox consortium are still plaguing the club...to hell with the fibre of the region or the proud traditions with the club when their lineage has its fortune on the line.

They are running out of corners to manoeuvre in, though, with surely no more shares to dangle to attract the investment of speculators. Their inept football acumen and irretrievable relationship with the fan base will see their asset turn to debt in time , and the clock is ticking faster than expected I feel.

They may actually have sealed their fate with the self inflicted humiliation of sacking & failing to replace Lee Johnson, throwing automatic hopes to the wind just days before revealing they are entirely to blame for the fiasco.
