You don’t even need to know business mate. An objective mind and a willingness to read publicly available information would have told people that this sort of arrangement was feasible and explained away (plausibly as they’re well rehearsed) with bullshit explanations about control.

Where did I say that ? If I did, which I don’t think I did because this is no surprise to me, then I’ll hold my hands up. This is pretty much what was reported at the time.
What I have said is that it’s obvious who’s making the everyday decisions and there’s a clear change of strategy and direction since KLD which I still think is correct and I stand by it. This week has shown that Methven has been involved in more than we’d like. In a way he’s been up front by showing his face weirdly. And I can’t stand the man.
I’m happy to rationally criticise - I think their cleverly worded statement which was sneaky at best to give a different impression. What I think we all need now to know the full picture is to know what the board structure looks like and what power they do have over direction and what the future may look like.

Probably going to get pelters but I agree. I can understand the frustration but feels perhaps like an overreaction in conjunction to the recent period we've just had. If this had been released after we beat Sheff Weds 5-0 a couple of months ago and were flying, I don't think it would be a "this is the end of the world" consensus.

I also agree that I wished it would have been over 50%; but if you're SD, you'd hold on until you could make a decent profit on your share which is probably when we eventually get back into the championship.

It read like 51% at that time and I questioned why everyone was getting so excited about this at the time.

This makes it even worse.
