Confirmed KLD only owns 41%

I'd take a good guess he's firmly on KLDs side. JS & KLD mix in exactly the same circles, both business and family wise. I'm also sure it was reported that JS was the one who originally approached KLD to come on board.
Donald and Methven are minuscule in comparison to Sartori & KLD.

Agree with this - KLD and Sartori will be in it together, but I guarantee at that shareholding, there will be lots they can't do without consent from Donald, and what worries me is that ultimately, we have a situation where together, Donald, Sartori and Methven collectively still own the majority stake in our club, just as they did before KLD joined.

I remember on the thread about the WMS article on the topic, a fair few shot the author down for daring to ask. Saying there was no way KLD wouldn't have over 50%, it's just stirring trouble etc. I for one am glad we have people willing to take a bit of stick for asking questions and holding the board to account.

An absolute joke the club deliberately misled us over this one.

From what I what I read and understood when I had my suspicions about it all, arrangements can be made for the largest minority shareholders to take ‘control’ with the agreement of other another minority shareholder.

That said, it’s still a concern because the issue comes down to club funding. And I think they’re pretty much all in it together anyway. Certainly KLD, Methven and Sartori.

The notion that KLD was headhunting Lee Johnson from Bristol City, Kristjaan Speakman from Birmingham and Steve Davidson was always slightly suspicious to me. Just seems a bit far fetched that a French Swiss trust fund boy was scouting those lot out from his chalet in the Alps.

It's a misnomer, as far as I'm aware. The other three could say "we hereby make you the controlling shareholder", and give him day-to-day authority to make operational decisions, but when it comes down to it KLD does not have a sole right to make any decisions. Donald and Sartori control a majority of shares - at any stage they could do whatever they want, short of passing a special resolution (to change the articles etc - legalistic stuff not really relevant to football).

If this is the real breakdown, I'm not sure what the outcry is about.

They've said all along KLD is controlling/majority shareholder. If that split is right, then this isn't a lie.
They've always said the other 3 reduced their percentage but still hold some percentage of the club. If that split is right, then this isn't a lie.
Well, I mean, it is

You don't control a company with 41% of it. That's basic maths that

Big f-ing meeting tomorrow then!

KLD needs to step up now. THIS is his moment, else he'll get lumped in with the Scumbag Two, and trust will die, together with season ticket sales.

Agreed. This is what I was arguing with Hep. People think they know business, but they haven't got a clue, and I'm absolutely f***ing certain now we've been had.

And if I was RAWA I'd be asking if KLD was going to the fans meeting tomorrow. If not I'd refuse to attend. Doing so would make a far bigger statement that be fed a load of bland answers from Steve Davidson.
A very good suggestion. I've mentioned to RAWA that if he doesn't attend it's yet another slap in the face of the fans. But aye, now we know the split there's actually very little point in having a meeting unless kld is there. Most of the things the fans will want answers to aren't going to be able to be properly addressed by speakman or Davison. I imagine it'll go ahead but I think I agree with you that it might as well be cancelled if he isn't going to be there

Unsurprising.

What sticks in the craw the most is the bullshit KLD came out with when he came in with his interview. The whole thing was a PR spin, and his pretend 'throwing the old guard' under the bus in his interview.

Madrox are a stain on this club. And are sticking around like a bad smell.
