Complaints to the NHS

Anybody done this before? What are the correct procedures for submission of complaint so it is dealt with correctly?
 


Gan to reception, fold yer arms, tut and tap your foot in an irritable manner

If you're still in then the matron can be a good asset to get things sorted. Ours was fantastic when we had serious concerns.
 
Can you not just go and talk to the person rather than complain? Old fashioned I know
Unfortunately we found with my wife's problems, that it was only the threat of an official complaint that got us anywhere. They were consistently misdiagonsing, each doctor contradicting the last and trying to avoid at all costs doing surgery. Once we threatened to complain she was swiftly booked in for surgery and her health improved no end. I live the nhs but it's now chronicly underfunded
