Commodore Amiga - Picture memories

Manchester United in Europe?? But the version i had was a keeper, think it was Les Sealey
I did find that one, but it wasn't it. I'm sure Andy Cole was the main player on the cover, I actually thought his name was in the title, I think I've remembered that wrong though.

It might have been Manchester United Premier League Champions (1994). Might have got the Cole link wrong, unless they released an update.

Can someone upload an image of the crowd on football masters please? A tremendously fun, albeit very floored management game.

Football Masters 2 (Footy Craxy) loved it, i reckon my gcse results would have been slightly better if that game didn’t exist.

Bugs in the game. If a second player gives there keepers away on free transfers then resigns from the club, the players get repopulated with young keepers who are 4 foot tall but have class stats. You then go back in and buy them cheap.
Also putting the entire squad on the transfer list, sometimes a team would offer way over the odds (after repeatedly refusing the bid) sell the player and buy him straight back for the normal market value.

Anco Player manager (not sure if pic will upload). Occasionally play this on emulation, what always bugged me was never being able to buy 500k+ players at the beginning of the game because the clubs finances arent high enough.

Got chat gpt to code a programme which tweaks the finances to whatever you want. Takes the fun out of it a bit as it’s cheating but scratched an itch that was over 30 years old because there’s no cheats that I’m aware of for this game and 14/15 year old me spent ages looking for cheats in the magazines (sad bastard I know 🤣)

Cheers mate, it was definitely a playable game as in you controlled the players, but I wonder if that game give you the option to do so, as well as manage?

Just thinking back, what was that games shop in town that used to sell Commodore 64 games? I can't remember it well but the walls were lined with cassettes, it must have been a computer shop and likely sold other games and computers of its time. This must have been late 80s/early 90s.

Top of blandford street, (crowtree road end). I can picture it but can’t think of the name.

Yes mate, that's the one! It would be great if someone could remember the name or better have photos/articles about the place.

That will have been in. Perhaps Cole didn't play for Man Utd at the time, was he still at the mags? I remember him being very good on the game, fast as. Perhaps I just signed him for Man Utd to mirror what had happened in RL.

It's amazing to think Man Utd had their own game
