RAWA Collective and Ticketing Meetings

I know of a couple of cases where there has been issues with season ticket renewals. Those people have now been contacted and have season tickets for next season.

I was hoping for justice for the Newcastle 65, but as far as I know, none of them have been contacted.

That's the only updates I've got at the moment. As soon as I hear anything, I'll pop it on here.

To date like thats disapointing from the club. Was hoping they’d act rapidly to correct things but on the surface/postings on here, little has changed.

There HAS been some reaching out to some people by the club (and RAWA) but I don't know to what extent.

My concern is that the season finishes in a week and a lot of attention will then turn to the World Cup. @Becs - have you had any further updates you can offer?

Of the 65 I am in regular contact with about 15 out of the group and can confirm that none of us have been contacted

There’s going to be no change in my situation following a meeting with a club official last week.

Of the 65 affected I know of at least 3 of those who haven’t renewed after each having season tickets for 20 years+ as a direct result of how they were treat.

Not included but hopefully Burwell was challenged on the claim that very very few clubs have manned ticket offices during the week.

As for praising TO staff the comments there make me think the ban to P was because of comments about the TO. The club have their heads in the sand/covering eachothers backs on this. Show most fans one fan with a positive view of TO and can find 10 who dont.

There is no acknowledgment of the TO being a shambles and the communications. None whatsoever. Waste of time. All we got out of those minutes is that away coaches might be parked in the sol grounds....and charging away coaches to park there :eek: ....and the new rail seating being put in.
 
A new Head of Grounds has been recruited; pitches will be improved to match the higher expectations &
aspirations of players which are at the highest end of Premier league expectations.


Sounds like some thought the pitch was shit :lol:
 
TB confirmed stadium expansion is a constant topic of discussion internally. The club will continue to
explore options and aims to maximise the opportunity for as many fans as possible to attend, generating
revenue for the club. It may potentially cost the club £250 million for expansion. The council continues to
be supportive of the club’s ambitions.

:£250m :eek: plans must be huge if thats anywhere near true

It's hard to get a true feeling of everything discussed in a meeting involving many different voices, but I doubt whether these minutes really offer any reassurances to those of us who've seen the club treat some of it's most loyal supporters in such an appalling way.

There is certainly no reference to questions being asked, or answered, on the topic of 'fairer' away ticketing, or the ridiculous ban imposed on one fan. This was a hot issue leading up to the meeting so for it to be bypassed completely is not a good look.

I'd like RAWA to ensure that their meeting agendas are made more visible in future so we can see if the club are cherry-picking what issues they are choosing to respond to (or not).

But another concern is the standard answer that I'm seeing more and more from SAFC, which is, vaguely, "yes, we've now realised that the issue (whatever it may be) is more nuanced than first thought... so we'll look at it and lets see how if we can do better from now on".

How about they stop rushing things through without proper thought and consultation? Some of this stuff is really easy for any competent business - do the damned thing properly first time around instead of having three or four go's at it. It's better for the consumer AND the bottom line.

They were selling women's season tickets for SoL earlier on and then took them off

The lasses might be playing all their home games there, unless it was an error
