How can you be eligible and miss out? Easy be at work and it sells out before you get a chance 🤷🏼‍♂️ id checks should never of been a thing

I can guarantee I avnt passed any on but have had a fair few passed my direction which Iv kindly taking for me son
like i edited, you're stitching others up.

I've never missed out on a ticket i'm eligible for and if I was unable to buy i'd have got someone else to do it for me. ID checks were always going to be a thing in the premier league. I'm not a fan of them, but it was always going to happen. It'll get worse in regards to home tickets as well.
Do we have a problem with home tickets? 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’m regards to been passed on I know ticket office is a shambles

How can I be missing out if i'm eligible? People have kicked up a massive fuss this season and that's where all this has come from. I would do away with ID checks entirely, however, it's either you implement them properly or you don't. You can't have people whinging about being unable to build up points and then also be in favour of passing tickets on to whoever you like if you can't go anymore, or within a branch. It leaves the system too open to abuse when peoples excuses for no longer making it become more and more common.
Any App /new system that will likely eventually come in will do away with ID checks almost completely (apart from ridiculous niche scenarios) so i see them as a short term thing tbh

On the face of it, no, but there are issues with tickets going unused every home game and not being listed for resale. That and the technical difficulties people have had with forwarding tickets to others too. I think we'll see measures in place to stop home tickets going unused for sure.

It is all basic stuff but the main areas of concern for me are:

1, Still Putting tickets (home and away) on sale with little/no notice on the website/social media. Just not good enough.
2, Admin fees. Given it is all digital what are we paying for? The service is frankly very poor.
3, T&Cs. If the club are going to start changing rules (especially mid season with ID checks and docking loyalty points for non attendance) then they need to communicate that and have proper T&Cs in place.
4, Proof read emails and comms. The club ones are clearly AI written, often contradictory and give wrong info.
5, Away tickets. If they are considering making changes off the back of one exceptional season then that doesnt sit right with me. They need to take their time and consult fans properly. Not just talk to this mythical ticketing group and those making the most noise who want to go now we are back in the Premier League.

I do feel we're some way off a new app/system mind. If they had one, it would need to be PL wide because at the moment clubs are just doing their own thing in terms of ID checks and we know the vast majority of tickets, for all games, still aren't ID checked. It's a small number every game. Then you've got the cost of said system.

All of my purchase history and points were deleted last year. I’m an exile, no longer go each week as a job change has me working Saturday mornings a lot, but I used to get to a few home and away games a season when I could, I’ve been going to games for years. Now I’m effectively locked out.

When I asked why my points were deleted I was told “We moved systems back in June only purchase history from last year was converted over.” and when I questioned this further I was ignored.

I’m not expecting or even want to get tickets ahead of others that go regularly, but I don’t want to be blindly ignored when tickets are seemingly available and I want to buy one. The club don’t seem to care that they’ve locked out someone that’s been a fairly regular attendee since the early 80s

1. The situation with P and the ban. Not PL rules as another PL club banned fan for same and ban overturned. Also the whole 65 cancelled tickets and allow to rebuy. Why then? Why not end of season?

2. The corporate season ticket holders. Gone to back of waiting list queue when want to switch back.

3. Poor comms on tickets and myths spoken about in podcast. The ticketing department not fit for purpose.

4. No fcility for away ticket transfers. I bought ticket in phase 1 for Wolves and been invited into hospitality today. Not decided what doing but potentially going to waste.

5. General point for RAWA. Can we have updates and statements regularly please. Shows whats going on and allows local media etc to jump on back of it.

6. Away ticket numbers per phase to allow us to decide if wait for friends in lower group to buy together.

7. Late opening of resale of home tickets. Why so long for some games like Spurs? For those of us with kids useful to resell when cant go and makes money for club.

Loads of other things but ticketing is so bad at moment that focus should just be this.

Why did the club originally say seat moves are free like other years, then changed it to £20 a seat?
Its not a big thing but I wouldnt mind my £40 back.

On the home tickets without any notice , all the dates were listed at the start of season , I do think we should maybe have at least a tweet or something on social to say tickets on sale tomorrow

Yea I did for free last year

Two meetings coming up in May

1) A meeting with the interim CEO about recent ticketing issues

2) The regular collective meeting

Please leave feedback in this thread for me to collate and send over to RAWA.

Please can I ask that the thread is kept on topic with constructive feedback. I know that some you think RAWA is not fit for purpose, I should be replaced etc etc. I already have enough of those type of comments.
Constructive feedback is one thing. And clearly a lot of ticketing queries already well covered here. But yeah ignore the moaners and personal attacks. Be the same people on the various Sunderland Facebook Groups that constantly spout 'Everything's shit'.

The Legends selection. Again I echo the concern over some of the choices and there will always be subjectivity but some of the picks are bizarre.

There was never any personal attacks i saw just people pointing out it would be good to have a rep who uses the board regularly rather than uses another one

I was just responding to Becs post which suggested she had. Not even thinking of any individual in particular. Having done a voluntary role in past when you're working then doing it on top in your own time I suppose it struck a chord....

Aye I agree. But maybe not next, but something will come in. It'll likely solve a lot of things, but annoy others as there'll be things that.....cant be done shall we say

Dearest @Becs can you please, please, please ask them about a statue for the club's top goal scorer and local lad Bobby Gurney.

It's utterly shameful how the club AND the local council too have appeared to have completely forgotten about him, his legacy at the club and the fact he still remains a club record holder decades after his final game for Sunderland. Everton have one, Bolton have one, Boro too and the mags have two ffs! Even though Milburn scored more goals.😉

The Legends Way thing is commendable but heavily weighted to players in our recent past while almost completely ignoring the clubs history and past achievements prior to 73.

As has been mentioned by others it's not representative enough of the club's historical icons and should have been a great promenade highlighting how important Sunderland was from it's beginnings right up to today as you move towards the stadium. Most people on the final list, while maybe more well known to modern era fans, barely warrant a page in the club's history books compared to some of the REAL legends who were missed.

Here here

Is there anywhere at the stadium where the club show how proud it is of our 5 league championships and 2 FA cups ?
