Coleman/Bain Q and A with fans.

McKemenemy gave us a talk before a game at Palace around 1987. He told us about how he prepared the team, who they were looking out for in the Palace team, how they were going to cope with the early onslaught. We were a goal down inside a couple of minutes the next day.

Well that’s fine then. That’s why he will rightly get it in the neck. He’s been paid to lie to the customers who pay his wages.

What has he lied about?

Apart from changing the seats I think he’s been fairly honest. And I think even with that broken promise he probably had the rug pulled from under him.

If anyone needed confirmation that the powers that be have no idea wtf they’re doing then this provides it. I’ve a bad feeling about this already. No good can come of it. Fundraising apart.

The pair of them playing the blame game with Ellis despite having a squad that should comfortably be mid table.

Spineless

It should be taken one step further. The players should be there as well.

The fans should be given the opportunity to ask certain players for explanations. The likes of Rodwell, Kone spring to mind.

If they are willing to pick up their massive pay cheques they should be at least answerable to the fans.

The only thing Bain should get it in the neck for is questionable appointments and recruitment. And even then he can simply say his hands are tied, and he probably has a point.

What he should be being asked it ‘what next?’ - when do we bottom out, what is it dependent upon and what are the plans to Improve things? If he has no concrete answers then you have to question why he’s here.

Even Short came twice on his own (the last quite recently after Coleman appointed) to the brewery in London Bridge where the London Branch meet. Got an easy ride with his bullshit. Hope this is more hard hitting especially at Bain.
dunno like, he stayed til nearly 1 in the morning and by that point he was getting a good grilling.

Got to respect them for coming into the town and facing the fans. Not many in the football industry would do it these days.
The likes of Reidy would never do it when he was here.
You only do this if you care, and your prepared to be humble enough to take the flak

Couldn’t blame reidy considering he was basically attacked during his last preseason with us

Well, this is gonna end well. They're gonna need some massive bouncers and security akin to a G20 meeting.

Why do I get a feeling the two of them are making a bit of a stand?
Coleman might be gone by then!

Actually Sunderland might be;)

There’s only 110-120 tickets from what I heard on the podcast (I was falling asleep after getting back from Bolton this morning tbh:oops:). Nowt to worry about as CC has already told us “Martin is a big boy and can look after himself”

From Colemans press congress on Monday I got the impression they're both as pissed off with Short as everybody else.
