ANY money there are a host of clubs waiting to sign this lad next season. I don't blame him for going, always gets the raw deal, asked to bat out of position, dropped as soon as the team dont score many runs.

Muchall very much seems the golden boy in Geoff Cooks eyes. Ever since Moxon left Kyle has barely had a look in. He will get 1000 runs a season with ease if he's given a regular No3 spot at another county imho.
 
Could do with him hanging about. Was talking to lad in the office today about the Durham team in 3 years time, we reckoned you'd be without at least Di Venuto, Collingwood, Benkenstein, Blackwell, Harmison, Davies and Thorp.

Some big boots to fill there.
 
Winning Championships and being in contention for other honors can only bode well for attracting youngsters and the better overseaers. Make hay while the sun shines as they say.
