Club up for sale?

This. Might not get much more value into it.
We'd have to be close to UCL qualification for the club to be worth drastically more than it is now.

A good time to sell (from KLD's point of view).

I hope he doesn't sell fwiw but can see the attraction.

When was the last time we were in this good of a position? And we have an owner who isn't sportswashing or gambling with the club's future. It'd be very likely a bad thing if we were sold.
He’s a smart young, very wealthy young man who understands the business of football. His fellow major shareholder is also very wealthy and his father in law is a Putin confidant. These are not starry eyed jumpers for goalposts aficionados.

Finished higher in the Bob Murray/Reidy days, even Steve Bruce had us in top ten position.

I hope to god Pearlman doesn't buy us. ✊
Not sure he'd have the money now we're in the big league. Think they were talking about 50M last time Fulwell73 were interested. Probably looking at 5 or 6 times that now.

I'd still prefer a MLF owner to a hedge fund or nation state, even one with some questionable opinions.

I wasn’t concerned until I read that “denial” quoted by mark douglas on X. If it’s accurate it sounds more like a confirmation than a denial - “we are fully committed to the club etc” skirting around the issue. If the club’s not for sale why not say so - use the exact words “The club is not for sale”

Leo knows full well he cannot afford SAFC.

Unlike William Storey who thinks he is Rich enough.

Problem here is if they sell they done it after moving a load of people out and replaced them with people who will leave when the club is sold.

If this is what it takes to get rid of the thrid wheel, then so be it. The other two were idiots, he is sinister.

We are just about at the top of our value at the moment without the owners having to spend.

The "flip it for profit" angle doesn't make any sense to me.

KLD is a billionaire who was brought up around football and it seems that his dream is to be involved in football. I don't get why he would sell up just for a bit of cash that he doesn't need.

I could see him maybe buying Marseille at some point but he might as well make all of his mistakes here and learn from them before he does that if that's what he sees as his legacy.

Personally, I think the likelihood of finding a better owner is slim to none.
