Clarkson’s farm

Can't wait for this
I honestly think this show has the legs of the GT. I keep fearing the ideas will run out but then the next season has a good 4-5 new ideas in it I can't wait to see. I could also watch funny characters farm all day tbh. I know they're taking a break but I really hope we see series 6 and beyond.

He's said that in recent interviews that he has pretty much stopped "proper farming" as there is no money to be made. The farm is now effectively a film studio where he has replaced cocking around in cars with cocking around in tractors. Still good fun though.

I bet West Oxfordshire District council are furious.

I like the programme but I can imagine the residents of Chadlington feel some animosity towards the whole extravaganza.

He's started filming series 6 but got interrupted with a TB outbreak earlier in the year. He said he'll keep doing it as long as he has an idea for it and said he had a plan for 6 and also 7

He also said that after his heart issues and the fact that the crew who had been following the farm 24/7 for 5 years straight, they needed a break. He also said for those reasons that they were taking a break. The TB issues also look like they are shown in series 5.

It's been quite conflicting info regarding the show continuing and if I'm remembering correctly, this is the longest gap in announcing new a series. For example, series 4 and 5 were announced even before series 3 had finished airing or had just finished airing.

I honestly believe theirs no guarantee of series 6 following the same time routine.

Just seen a clip from someone visiting the farm in the last couple of days and they were filming so it looks like are at least trying to make a season 6. Might just be an extended wait before we get it

Just watched Episode 1. It's now very much gone down the same path as Top Gear - i.e. from a show about cars/farming to a magazine show with celebrities to increase TV audience.

Fully understand why they have gone down this path, but the section with Piastri was really shoe-horned in.
