Those 2 lasses look like someone I'd have a bit crack with in the local pub. Absolutely top class talent, anyone know if they were the original singers? (probably a stupid question like)That is a beautiful piece too. Good shout.

It's a song by a French composer, in an opera set in India, but British Airways used it in their adverts. Also Beethoven's own moonlight. And Schubert's Ständchen. There's a lot of very relaxing music from the romantic era. Try listening to Evensong on radio 3.
Do you know about when the original was released? No probs if not i'll look it up later. Thanks for the info marra. It's a song by a French composer, in an opera set in India, but British Airways used it in their adverts. You couldn't make it up.
There are literally millions of interpretations. Stick with the one you like.I loved moonlight sonata until that prick Bruno did it in Fame (the series); I still like it but my enjoyment is dimished.

I'm sorry but I don't. I think Delibes was late 19th/early 20th century. He wrote a famous pizzicato called Sylvia.Do you know about when the original was released? No probs if not i'll look it up later. Thanks for the info marra.
