claiming back a purchase on the card

i have ordered some food tonight and basically its inedible...ive been offered a half price discount next time i order..

thats bollocks like, if i phone me bank will they refund the charge
 


Is it a credit card? - only works on them - not debits. I think if the food hadn't come up you definitely could, if it's not as described you can as well, but if it's purely a matter of taste probably not. No harm in trying. People should do it more.

its definatly not as described like im gonna give it a bash in the morning
 
Some cards charge an admin fee to refund a transaction (Capital 1 was £5) so it's worth asking about this when you phone in case it makes it not worth doing.
