No way is that a coincidence.
I like Cirkin been a good servant and always gives his best but he got rinsed quite a few times last season against average wide players, I think he would get destroyed in the prem. Quite injury prone aswell only played 72 games out of a possible 138 games in our 3 championship seasons, Just over half

Isn't he meant to be having an operation on his wrist over the summer, to properly fix the injury he had before, I'm sure I read that somewhere.

I think pre wristband injury Cirkin was one of those players who looked capable of stepping up a level. Post wrist injury he looked a different player and someone who was pretty average. I personally think there is a very good player in there who could step up but for his injuries that seem to be stalling him a bit.
