Cirkin


The thing about most of our squad that got promoted were classed as experienced by a lot . When in reality they're all young and came from league 1 or the championship with no experienced top flight players around them and they've stepped up. Now with the likes of Xhaka and Reinaldo to learn from, imho some of these will take off in the months to come and go from strength to strength .

It’s his defending I worry about, he can definitely contribute at this level going forward.

Afraid, I’m another. It’s not just the pace. Difference between him and Hume isn’t pace, it’s Hume has much better concentration and positioning (and even then, these are areas for him to work on).

Its a fair point, he admitted himself he was all over the shop in the play off final, great going forward but struggles against players running at him with pace.
 
How does he get a game ? Why would have three left backs? I think one is for game where we need a wing back and one is for defending a 4. Is Dennis a step in for a Reinildo injury for a back 4? Would he even sign up to that ?
 
Be surprised if he stays. Can't see him getting many games. We probably need to get some money deals and Neil and Cirkin seem obvious to move. Next week will be busy.
 
Obviously Regis has opted for experience in defence, hence the reasons for signing older players across the full defence. I can only see Ballard and Hume getting regular playing time but will they be first choice when everyone is fit and upto speed. Could possibly see Cirkin and Huggins moving on to get games
