Cirkin goodbye message

So the problem wasn't fixed like I said.

People hoying around nonsense that he was out with it for a year and so what if he injured it again

The lad has been fantastic for Sunderland.
It's more or less the last stage of recovery to get a plate removed. Just the stitches to heal and then hopefully it's sorted for good.

What a shame. Wish him all the best. Those lads that did league one to prem and now Europe. What a legacy to leave. They’ll be remembered so well in years to come.

Hope he gets a long run of games to show what he’s capable of, as he’s got something for sure.

I'm not embarrassed to admit i fought the tears watching that, we've loved a full back at sunlun for many a year and some of our so called ones in league 1 were abysmal, then we signed Cirkin, I hope he can get his injury troubles behind him and go on to have a happy long career, thank you and fairwell sweet prince

Probably the best move all round imo. He needs proper football and will get a top championship move. We need someone to actively push and challenge reinildo (who isn’t getting any younger) rather than a clear backup I reckon.

Find it quite sad suprisingly. Its natural progression but having Neil, Cirkin and likely Patterson leaving after the journey here is bittersweet. Especially Cirkin who had looked canny in his few prem appearances.
Still have onien from that period (plus ballard from the championship era), just hope we manage to keep that family and comradery that we fostered over the last 5 years even with this progress.
