yes and the headline is very misleading

'DeAndre Yedlin admits he's never seen a stadium quite like St James' Park'

but when asked about playing in front of 52,000 at St James’, Yedlin told the Chronicle: “I think St James’ Park is a soccer specific stadium so everything is a little tighter and the fans are on top of you.

“In America you don’t really see a stadium like it.

This is polite American for lobsided sport shop carrier bag stadium design

...do you think they'd been interviewing Yedlin every 5 minutes about how much he loves the toon and the 55,000 screaming jawdies if he hadn't spent last season on loan here??
not sure what you expect from them . it's like reading the Huffington post and Canary websites expecting balanced political insight and maturity

....hence why he shit his little American pants through there last season. Last 20mins he was a jibbering wreck. . Fanny.

Sad state of affairs where you manage to relegate your rivals but end up with a worse manager, worse squad, an owner who wants out and end up favourites for relegation by September with a overwhelmingly miserable feeling around the club
f***ing hell. You're in the championship, it's easy to beat teams in that league, but you keep getting carried away..chermpions leeg boond

Oh, they mean the game where they were in tears when we turned over Chelsea. That one? It's great isn't it!!
Was out for my mates birthday on the drink in Morpeth. Watched that Villa match surrounded by Mags. Was absolutely fantastic seeing that pitiful performance and the news of our score filtering through. The realisation they were gan down man :lol:

love how they are absolutely obsessed with Sunderland from their papers to their explayers (think fat slug mickey quinn always having digs) mag twats that sign up on here pretening to be safc fans so they can big them up and put us down, starting match threads about themselves so they can write an article in their own fanzines about whats on here!!!! they put so much effort into it yet claim that" they are not bothered" no, not bothered one little bit at all

Haven't read the whole thread, but so far, nobody's mentioned the secret magic code encryption identifier Bazooka Jer magic siren ring X-Ray specs 007 secret agent undercover "knowing wink" yet!

Tsk, tsk! Arf arf!! Y'knarr! Fnarr!

Never actually thought he was that good tbh

He got a game because he was marginally better than Billy Jones, not exactly a ringing endorsement.

Even one of the blokes that built the extra bits says its a carbuncle. The other made his money in scrap metal which says it all. Whatever your views of Sir Bob the SOL will be a beuatiful stadium when it hopefully goes to 65,000 hopefully some time in the not do distant future.

Yedlin and the Chronicle. :)
