When I first heard about this, I thought it could potentially be heat related as it is f***ing hot over there and hopefully not heart related.

With the Danish FA pretty much confirming it was heart related and the pacemaker doing its job, it's definitely time to call it a day for him. I doubt there will be many countries that'll cover him on the insurance policies with 2 separate heart events to begin with. I think his family will likely convince him to hang up the boots as well.

I don't post much on here but my old man bless him had the same defib (not pacemaker) fitted a few years ago. I'm not being an arse but the 2 are hugely different.

The specialist at James Cook told him if it ever needed to go off he would know and his chest would tell him....(without seeing it I would suggest that is what happened tonight) then the app on his phone would tell the heart specialists all they need to know.

It could go off when sitting on the loo (sorry Dad and Elvis...,) walking the dog or driving (neither have had their licences taken from them - not saying I agree).

He's had it fitted throughout Wycombe at Wembley, Coventry, Sheff Utd at Wembley and then this season - not a flicker from the App but a chamber of his heart is wrecked and needs the defib....try telling him he isn't going to the match, walk the dog etc. All relative but we know one day it will.

I have 2 kids tonight have heard about Ericson and know Granda has a chance if that chamber of his heart that is wrecked needs the help.
