My initial guess is the device has detected an issue and stepped in with a shock of some kind, that could potentially be what he’s felt in his chest.

If it’s heat related then fair enough. If it’s anything even remotely heart related he should call it a day.

Well if he was my relation I’d be telling him in no uncertain terms that he needs to call it a day, your job regardless of what it is you do comes below your health in terms of priorities. He’s 34 now as well so he’s still managed to have a great successful career. Really wish him all the best and I’m glad to hear he was conscious and walked to the ambulance, they sound like positive signs.
