Chris Wilder

He got sacked from hull didn’t he bad move that from Sheffield United
Not necessarily. He is highly rated, kept Hull up taking over from a very different style manager mid-season, and Hull’s owner is mental. He sacked Rosenior this time last year who has had a solid season in the French top flight since.

Reckon selles might do alright for them, forward thinking coach, played some cracking football at reading under very trying circumstances. Obviously have better players to work with than hull.

He did a decent job at both Reading and Hull who both had their troubles. But I would imagine Sheffield Utd sacked Wilder because he failed to deliver promotion. Selles has doesn’t have that on his CV so it does seem strange.

Seems a strange appointment stylistically, a squad overall pending perhaps!

Wasted a lot of money last season so that will be expensive to rectify.

Maybe why Wilder couldn’t afford proper clothes at Wembley the mooby tosser.

Even his goodbye is all about him. Not about the journey they had, how proud he is of the players etc. Nope it's about how many games HE managed
Good point. He was the one who rebuilt the team, apparently. Reading that it doesn’t sound like anyone else was involved. “I’m proud to be talked about in the same way other great Utd managers are” = “I’m a great manager”. Nowt about the team. Twat.

Amidst the millions of pre final interviews, the ELF tweeted a couple of quotes from each manager. RLB talked about the group and the supporters. Wilder talked about how good it was for him to manage a team at Wembley.
