Not necessarily. He is highly rated, kept Hull up taking over from a very different style manager mid-season, and Hull’s owner is mental. He sacked Rosenior this time last year who has had a solid season in the French top flight since.

Reckon selles might do alright for them, forward thinking coach, played some cracking football at reading under very trying circumstances. Obviously have better players to work with than hull.

He did a decent job at both Reading and Hull who both had their troubles. But I would imagine Sheffield Utd sacked Wilder because he failed to deliver promotion. Selles has doesn’t have that on his CV so it does seem strange.
I hope they finish where Hull did.
