I know what you're saying, but that squad on paper should really have had enough to be promoted with the January reinforcements. They had good options almost all over the pitch. I think the 92 (- the points deduction) reflects that they did have a very good season in this division but the aim was obviously promotion. I can see both sides of the argument reallyNot for me.
You sign players to start games. Your old players become the back ups. Pointless ending up with loads of players who are much of a muchness. It's treading water not improving.
I didn't even realise Rak Sayki didn't make the squad.. genuinely amazed at that.Cannon was 10 mill plus wasn’t he?
That’s a bit much for a bench option for even a PL club with parachute money.
I was also amazed Rak Sayki didn’t make the bench for Wembley.
I was over the moon when I saw wilder hadn’t even picked him in the squad, and no he wasn’t injured.
